Visit the surroundings of Casa Perazzolo and enjoy your stay
Visit the surroundings
Casa Perazzolo is immersed in the Venetian countryside, in Val d’Alpone, located halfway between Verona and Vicenza,
cities guardians of art and culture, and which are both about 35 km from us and close to Soave, one of the beautiful walled villages in our region.
You’ll enjoy the enchanting landscapes found in the surroundings, plan ‘out of town’ trips such as excursions or simple outings, visit places rich in natural history, artistic beauties and have food and wine tastings.
We’re glad to help you plan the day!
Enchanting Lessinia
Lessinia is a plateau located between Verona, Vicenza and Trento territory.
Its name derives from “luxinum” wich means “place of light”.
You can follow various paths and rest in characteristic huts and enjoy typical dishes.
You can also visit the Geopaleontological Museum of Camposilvano and The Sphinxes Valley.
Brilliant Palladio
Andrea Palladio: the Italian Renaissance architect known throughout the world.
In Vicenza city and in its province there are twenty-four villas and twenty-three palaces recognized as world heritage by Unesco.
The so-called ‘Palladian Villas’ bear witness to his artistic genius.
In addition to the villas, which can also be admired in the provinces of Padua, Venice, Rovigo and Verona (hence appointed architect of the Venetian Republic), in Vicenza you can admire and visit the Basilica Palladiana, symbol of the city, and the Teatro Olimpico ‘built in small proportions and of indescribable beauty’ (J. W. Goethe, Journey to Italy).
Soave 'Soave'
Soave is a village of rare charm, protected by medieval walls and surrounded by pleasant hills, dominated by the Scaliger Castle.
You will enjoy strolling through its streets and discover the large viticulture hills outside the walls.
Here is produced the Soave white wine, characterized by mineral and fruity scents, appreciated by great admirers.
In the area you can visit many wine cellars and buy this excellent wine!
Carega Massif
Beyond the Lessinian plateau, in the Venetian Pre-Alps, the Carega massif extends, belonging to the mountain range of the Little Dolomites. These mountains offer the hiker wonderful panoramas and evocative glimpses. You will find well-marked paths and the peace of an ancient place.
We recommend this well-known, but always beautiful excursion:

Furthermore, in the Revolto Valley, between the beginning and the middle of June, you can admire the Scarpetta di Venere, a very rare spontaneous orchid; you will find several specimens, it is a unique naturalistic spectacle.
